AFTER CARS

February 27, 2013 - Coll.eo is delighted to present a new series of works, AFTER CARS.
The project consists of three different sets of artifacts: AFTER CARS LAYOUTS - six mixed media layouts unveiled today; UNTITLED I-IV (After Dirk Skreber) - four digital videos introduced in January 2013; and several digital prints on canvas and light boxes presented in December 2012.
Coll.eo is a collaboration between Colleen Flaherty and Matteo Bittanti.
Colleen Flaherty is a San Francisco-based artist. Colleen received her M.F.A. in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, San Francisco in 2002 and her B.F.A. Cum Laude, with emphasis in Painting and Drawing, Minor in Music from San Jose State University, San Jose, California in 1998. Colleen Flaherty is represented by the Bohemian Museum of Contemporary Art in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Matteo Bittanti is an interdisciplinary artist based in San Francisco. His practice lies at the intersection between digital games, cinema, and the web. His works have been presented in the United States, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Italy. In addition to his playful interventions, Bittanti teaches in the Visual Studies (VS) and in the Visual & Critical Studies (VCS) programs at California College of the Arts in San Francisco and Oakland.
